Greater Atlantic can provide a status report certified by our title officer within two business hours from receipt of your order. Our report includes the correct, current name of the entity as registered with the State, the formation or authority date, the current status, the name and address of the registered agent and the main business address, if available. Active fictitious names and previous names can be provided if requested. The cost of the report is $30. For an additional $10 fee the report can be expanded to include the names and addresses of officers, directors or members as reflected on the entity’s most recently filed annual report.

If a corporation, either domestic or foreign, is found in the chain of title within the last ten years, a franchise tax search is recommended in order to ensure that there are no liens for unpaid franchise taxes due to the State of New Jersey. Greater Atlantic can provide these search reports for a fee of $35.00. Greater Atlantic maintains a database of all Franchise Tax Reports obtained throughout the year so in the event you order a search on a corporation that is already in our database, we can provide that report to you within 24 hours. For searches on corporations that are not in our database already, the Division of Taxation takes 4 to 6 weeks to provide results.

Greater Atlantic can provide State certified Good Standing Certificates for corporations, LLCs and LLPs. Good Standing Certificates are ordered when you need proof beyond a status report that a business entity is authorized to do business in that State. The State issues Good Standing Certificates in either short or long form, depending upon the amount of detail you require. At Greater Atlantic we can provide Good Standing Certificates from New Jersey within one business day. Good Standing Certificates can be provided from all States. Delivery times and costs for orders outside of New Jersey may vary by jurisdiction.

Chancery Abstracts are available for Residential/Commercial Mortgage Foreclosures, In Rem/In Personam Tax Foreclosures, Adverse/Peaceable Possession, Condemnation, Partitions, Condominium Lien Foreclosures and cases resulting in executions sales. The format of our abstracts is easy to read and includes copies of pertinent pleadings at no additional cost. The cost of our Chancery Abstract is a set fee of $165.00.

A Post Judgment Certificate of Regularity is essentially a Short Form Abstract. The review of the foreclosure is as extensive as that of the full Chancery Abstract but the abbreviated format provides the names of all defendants included in the final judgment, a listing of all the documents filed in the case and copies of pertinent pleadings. This is an alternative to the more lengthy format for those who do not require the full description of each of the filings in any given foreclosure case. The cost of the Post Judgment Certificate of Regularity is $165.00.

Greater Atlantic offers Case Status Reports for cases in which final judgment has not been entered. Our report will provide the current status of the case and copies of relevant pleadings, such as filed complaint and possible orders of dismissal.

Greater Atlantic conducts searches of the records of the Superior Court of New Jersey and the United States Federal Courts in New Jersey, including the District Court, Bankruptcy Court and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, for cases involving a requested party, in any capacity, that has not reached conclusion either by judgment, order or dismissal. Case information is provided for all active cases in which the subject is a named party. In addition, a list is provided of all closed cases in which the subject was a party.

At your request, our experienced title officers will review your title search together with the Chancery Abstract to provide you with a report confirming that no necessary parties were omitted from the foreclosure proceedings. This service is offered as an add-on to any Chancery Abstract order for an additional charge of $40.00 or as a stand-alone order for a charge of $50.00 for any review that includes a Chancery Abstract performed by another company. Greater Atlantic also offers to provide name search reports for those files in which you need additional information to assist in your judgment search review so you can omit judgments with confidence. The cost of the name search is $9.00 per name.

Greater Atlantic can now provide address searches enabling you to more quickly complete service of process in your action. Supply as much information as you may have (name, redacted social security numbers, last known addresses, etc.) and we will search multiple databases and provide you with address histories identifying the most likely current address. Address searches can be done for individuals and business entities. The reports for business entities will include the most recent information available from the State of New Jersey Division of Revenue and Enterprise Services including main business address and the names and addresses of the registered agent any any officer, director or members. These reports are delivered electronically in two business hours or less at a cost of $15.00 per name.

Greater Atlantic can now provide full skip trace reports. Supply as much information as you have regarding the individual you are seeking to locate, and we will conduct a skip trace search and provide you with a report that will include the subject’s date of birth, possible alternate names, redacted social security number, address history, reported driver’s license information, death index search and possible telephone numbers. The report will also include results from postal inquiries and telephone inquiries (including telephone inquiries to adjacent or nearby neighbors). The preliminary report will be supplied within eight business hours followed by a supplemental report when the postal inquiry results are received for a cost of $70.00. If you order a full skip trace on a subject for whom we conducted an address search within the preceding two weeks, we will credit the cost of the address search toward your skip trace order.
